got FULL signal, no dhcp - help
ok i been scoping out this place for a while, and i get practically a FULL signal, but nothing comes up, i dont get "conneted" on the taskbar, (win2k pro)
do they just not have the DHCP server set up to give me an ip? its NOT wep encrypted.... any ideas? / other help? also what are some good packet sniffers for this type of driving thx |

Be careful.
If you DO connect to their network and you're not authorized to do so, they're gonna bust your ass.
Otherwise, use a sniffer and or assign your self an ip. If it doesn't have wep, then they're probably using default ranges. Like 192.168.0.X. It's worth a try. |

well i have like FULL signal, very nice signal, but the network connection icons in the taskbar of win2k that usually say connected at x.0mbit dont show up anything, so i know im not connected to their network
and no it doesnt have WEP ill try this ethereal and let you guys know thx |
