I passed by a trailer today and the ssid was "mobilehome". Thought it was pretty amusing.

Found this one while just sitting in my room with my antenna connected. I'm glad my network is secure, because there's clearly someone in my neighborhood trying to cause problems.

Not all hacking is illegal. Many hackers get offended when you confuse them with crackers.

Like me. I'm greatly offended by the connotation of "hacker = criminal." The bastardization of the word in this manner really pisses me off. I've been hacking for over 30 years, and have never done something illegal.

I'm 47. I started fooling around with "big iron" mainframes (IBM 360s/370s and a Xerox Sigma 6 to be exact) back when I was 14 or 15. So it's been something like 32 or 33 years.

Back in those days it was was indeed a high honor to be called a hacker.

ah.. well you got a few years on me.. I turned 39 today, (and btw, I was born on a friday 13th) and I got into pc's (trs-80 model 100 with 24 K of ram) when I was 18.
