problem with WL-167g
I've read in compatibily thread that card work but my card don't work....
 I've tried a lot of driver but NT don't find any network.... the card is an asus wl-167g with chipset ralink 2571w and use rt73 driver on windows.... the card work perfectly for normal use but with NT doen't work... I want use NT with his graphic interface to test caliber of my biquad.... there's a problem with chipset? there's driver that work properly? thanks |

What is "NT"? Do you mean "NS"? NS = NetStumbler.
The Ralink chipset is NOT supported. NS may work under limited circumstances with that chipset, but it will never properly report Signal, Noise, or Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), so it will not be useful for testing a bi-quad antenna. To see Signal, Noise and SNR information, you will need to get a ORiNOCO Classic card.

i was wrong.... i wanted to say NS
 thx guy for the info..... i've read this Cards that reportedly WORK with NetStumbler 0.4 but probably is a revision 1 of this card with prism chipset..... now search a usb that work with NS beacuse my laptop haven't pcmcia slot for the orinoco  |

Damn nozzle on pilot light is clogged up from lack of use. Never had that problem on this forum before. It must be time to let in some more maroons. <guickly looks around for assault weapon/flamethrower cleaning kit. It must be packed up in the "in case Billary or Hussein actually wins" escape kit.
