Is this right??
Theoretical situation:

With netstumbler you can pickup configurations of wireless LANs right? I mean.. lets say I picked up 2 networks... I can see what ESS number they are using... replace mine with that.. and surf the internet using their LAN.. right??

Provided they are not using WEP, that they have not restricted the MACs that can connect to the AP, and that they issue you a DHCP lease.

There are ways to resolve some of those ifs, but afaik, that is the answer to your question.
