airodump probs on windows ME
yeah, i get an error that says "RegOpenKey(...\NetWorkCards) failed" and when i press ok it shows nothing under "known network adapters" i have oronico roamabout card i think its also called a oronico gold but it is seen by netstumbler and its bring up networks but i still get the error from airodump
*edit* OH FUCK! pci cards arent supported...gayness! well what do i do now?... |

ok well..how do yall run around with laptops w/o using a pci card...what do yall use? i use a pci card cause i have a connection to my cantenna on it...
*edit* wait a freakin minute...i have a pcmcia card, no a pci card..so it should WORK!!! its an orinoco gold card shouldnt it work? Last edited by eneph : 04-07-2005 at 12:29 AM. |

well if you werent such an assmonkey i would of told that i had already been to the "welcome desk" before i asked and it dealt with problems about the netstumbler hardware and software problems...But obviously you dont have time to answer my question..but you do have time to talk shit on the internet, my mistake home slice

ok, an update...this is the card i have..
http://img134.exs.cx/img134/705/roamabout5vq.jpg i installed the drivers that came with it on two laptops and airodump still says it cantfind a card i installed the agere drivers on two different laptops and airodump says it cant find a card... both driver sets work with netstumbler..im stumped... from what i have read this card can be used for airodump and aircrack well its been 3 hours and i am using the card browsing the net using an unencrypted network, i downloaded the drivers it says it should have...yet it still says it cant find a card...w/e im done for the night Last edited by eneph : 04-07-2005 at 02:05 AM. |
