airodump for windows (beta2)

This release adds proper handling of Atheros and Aironet pcmcia cards - still got no feedback regarding Realtek cards, though.

post-edit: attachment obsolete thus removed.

Beta1 worked fine, however, Beta2 keeps asking me for the network interface and never continues. Card: Enterasys (Orinoco Classic) WinXP.

So, after you enter 'o' for the interface type, whatever value you choose for the interface index the program rejects it and asks again ? That's a weird problem, maybe have a look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCards\<interface index>\ServiceName and check that the value exists.

post-edit: typo corrected

IO error (Idiot operator). Didn't have all of the files in the folder.

I’m not sure about the legality of it so feel free to shoot me down if it’s illegal due to distribution restrictions or something but could someone please post the .dll's needed, saves downloading the whole program for us poor dialup users.

Thanks,

*crosses fingers*

Coming soon, need to do some proper testing before.

Well, the native win32 port is a huge improvement in itself so I decided to bump the major version number. Apart from that, the cryptanalysis remains the same.

aircrack 2.0 still suports GNU/Linux, of course. It can also be compiled on Mac OSX.

what's next in your TODO list ?
