This is the one you've been waiting for!
We now support comfoolery port sharing. (by letting you choose between using the comm api or mscomm.ocx) We now run on both MapPoint Europe 2002 and North America versions. Download it now. Hi,
I purchased this morning, and after a bit of fiddling, I got it working. The main problem for me was that it wouldn't work with COM14. I use bluetooth, which means that I don't have any other ports (other than COM4, which I use for netstumbler) available. I had to disable bluetooth, and used COM9 to get it working. Maybe you could take a look at that? Also, I'm not sure if this is to do with the comfoolery setup, but on a test drive, on occasion, the location would jump to somewhere a few hundred miles away and then back, making the track look a bit wierd! Other than that, it works great, and thanks a lot for making it work with comfoolery! ![]() BTW, I have an Etrex Vista GPS, set to NMEA IN/OUT, at 4800. I also have a Magellan GPS315, but will have to get it out when I get home to try it. Brendan Last edited by bkehoe : 06-17-2002 at 01:42 PM. |

I'm sure it's a Winblows bug, (there are sooo many!).
The program is quite cool, I was just optimistic that Windows wouldn't screw it up! Let me know when you have it fixed, and I'll send you the $20 for all your hard work ![]() |
