Brute force ?
It seems that cracking encryption is somewhat difficult.

What stops someone from doing a brute force dictionary attack against the router setup password ?

Obviously physical security and the wireless security is important. Encrypt your wireless traffic, and make sure they can't connect to your LAN.

disable broadcast
wep/wpa
mac filtering
...it's the best you can do short of running radius or something there of. Me personally, I tunnel virtually everything over SSH. The compression does wonders.
