What does capturing packets have to do with wardriving?

Is airodump a wardriving tool or a security auditing tool? Damn I can never remember!

Oh and for your broadcom POS card, no.

Not much will work with Broadcom as the manufacturer has kept the API closed source as far as I know. The chipset has been pretty much blacklisted by the Linux community and is akin to driving a Yugo.

It's such a good card Dutch gave one to Wrzwaldo for his 3l33t photoshopping skills.

The best card in my opinion is a Hermes chipset Orinoco
