Card detects itself under WinXP?
I am having a little difficulty in finding any information on what causes this issue and how to fix it:

I am using a Proxim 8470-WD card in my Dell Latitude D800. I recently (two weeks ago) switched over to WinXP from Win2K. Since the new install, my card keeps detecting itself with seemingly random MAC addresses. I've been using the card for about a year, and never had this problem under Win2K.

I have the card set in Ad-Hoc mode, with all other card settings in default.

I tried changing drivers, but it has made no difference.
