I'm wondering what spam/spyware it installs.

You guys are the only free solution I've found that really works." - John (San Francisco, CA) "I didn't think I needed something like this, until recently when I had my computer accessed at a Cafe. Thanks for the useful tool." - Jeremy (Chicago, IL) OK now for some info: The Hotspot Shield Control Panel is a Javascript/Ajax application which cannot run unless Javascript is supported and enabled in the browser. Outgoing port: 8041, UDP to: 209.128.101.114, 74.52.44.18, 74.52.44.34, Outgoing port: 8042, UDP to: 209.128.101.114, 74.52.44.18, 74.52.44.34 Outgoing port: 8043, UDP to: 74.52.44.18 Outgoing port: 8044, UDP to: 74.52.44.34, 74.52.44.18 config State: Connected VPN IP Address: 10.207.80.6 VPN Server Address: 74.52.44.18 They do list alot of "Commercial" free hotspots, no adds or pop-ups. Then again FF w/NoScript+Adblock. Gives you a little system tray icon. Over all free is free, somewhere they have to make a $0.10 to keep those 3 servers running. I'm guessing its from saleing services to the businesses they list in the Wifi Finder list. I know, most anyone can get a ssl/vpn box setup and running at home for next to nothing. Yes it would safer, more secure if you did it your self too. Bottom line, it appears to work.

Anything in there about "anonymous" logging of internet activity through the VPN?
