Home WiFi network
Hopefully I am posting in the right area..

I and my wife are building a new 2 story house. I would like to get full coverage from my D-link 2.4Ghz router (802.11G).

What I need to know is:
Would attaching 2 of these antennas together with a splitter and tying them into the router work? I would like one on each floor mounted on the ceiling near the center of the house.

My other alternative is, we are going to wire the whole house with Cat6 wiring anyway and would I be better off using an access point instead of trying to split the antenna?

No it wouldn't work.
Do a search on the forum for "Antenna Diversity", for the reasons why it won't work.

The second option would be the best.

Thaks guys!
That was the fastest response I think I have ever seen in a forum.

I kind of figured splitting the antenna was not a great idea, but since we are laying cat6 everywhere I may as well invest in an AP.
