Okay, if someone knows 0 about programing and very little about computers would you think that compiling (what ever that may be, yet it has wasted 2 hours of my life) the program would be too much to hope for? Is there not just a way to install it like other windows programs?

Kismet is NOT a "windows program." It's completely useless under Windows since it uses rfmon drivers. Someone needs to read a bit better.

Probably for the best. Kismet wont work under windows because the program puts the card into a mode in which it recieves every wireless packet in the air - not just ones meant for it. This is how the program works - it picks up every packet and sifts useful information from them. Kismet won't work under windows because, with windows, the card can only read packets meant for it. Windows cannot be used to indescriminatly grab packets from the air; ergo kismet wont work. Stick with netstumbler - it's much easier to work.
