Going to do a stumble tomorrow in a densely populated (AP-wise) area of Copenhagen, a square residental area of appr. 800 x 800 meters, and do some maps with various layouts. Will revert back with samples and feedback. And Adam, please drop me your postal adress in e-mail, going to send you something nice from Copenhagen, as a small cadeau for a job well done.(paypal is a pain in the butt, when you live in Europe...) Just my 0.02€'s worth... Dutch Last edited by Dutch : 05-03-2004 at 06:16 PM. |

Adam,
One item which would be great to have, is the possibility to distinguish secured vs non-secured AP's. I.E. having the names and description for the waypoint data in red for non-secured AP's, and green for secured AP's (those using WEP). Maybe as an option in the waypoint field area ? More suggestions tomorrow, after I have tested with the densely populated area. Just my 0.02€'s worth... Dutch |

Update: okay, I think I got it... waypoint names now have the SNR and either "WEP" or "open." Last edited by adamschneider : 05-03-2004 at 07:49 PM. |

text files
Okay, now GPS Visualizer supports NetStumbler-exported text files (file suffix should be .txt). Give it a try.

Since it will mainly be of use to European WarDrivers, you might want to put something about that, and I'd suggest posting some rudimentary instructions.
