Mappoint VS. Street Atlus Delux
I have the latest version of street atlus delux. I recently aquired mappoint 2002. I have a few issues with Mappoint. Mabey i'm just over looking them.
1. In Street Atlus Delux, when i have gps hooked up it has a green arrow pointing to the direction i'm going and then leaves behind small green dots to show where i have been. This is extreemly helpfull when navigating a big city. Is there a way to make mappoint do this? 2. Is there a way to make the map shift to always point the way i'm going. For example: In Street Atlus Delux, the map always shifts so that my green arrow is pointing up. (So i'm always looking at the map as if i were going forward. I hope that these are some features that i have simply overlooked. Thanks for any suggestions. -Mr.K |

It's not a bad application, but there are problems with the way MapPoint handles com ports, which means virtual com ports and USB com ports won't work right with it. There are a few threads here which address that situation. Quote:
Admittedly, MP2k2's strong point is in the business analysis part of the program, which is how I did all the neat maps on my site from my wardrives. However, it lacks a lot of the telemetry items that Delorme can take home the trophy with.

They also had a DVD of previews for $0.01. I got it, it has a scene with a cheerleader doing really high leg kicks I'll buy that for a penny! |
