MS Streets & Trips software....?

I am looking for street stumbler to use with MS streets and trips. Would allow you to use with gps. I seen a thread on it but the links to it were dead. Any other possibilities on one? Thanx

no.....i searched for "map software" plain and simple. I remember seeing this thread on ms streets and trips. Never said I looked and did not find it. Thanx for the link though.

But... You searched for the wrong thing and found nothing. Fair enough. But then you found what you wanted, or, the name of it at least, and didn't search!? In the future, maybe you should search for something if you find the name of it....

Never mind, it all worked out alright on the night.

Although StreetStumber was taken offline by request of ISP, it will be put back online within the next few days, as well as the newest (pre) Release of it.

The newest version has enough features, information and searching power to keep just about everyone happy. It even includes a cross-reference of MAC address of selected AP with a known database of hardware venders. Ie: Find out if that "Linksys" really is a Linksys or not !

Stay Tuned, I'll keep everyone informed of when its up and going again !

I can get street stumbler to convert the data from NS no problem but the format of the latitude and longitude is N45.xxxx,W75.xxxx and MS Streets doesn't accept this. It wants a format for 45.XXXXX,-75.xxxxxx.

When I manually convert to that format then S&T accepts and maps the data no problem.

What am I missing to get this process automated..I don't want to have to manuaaly go in and change the lat/long data format all the time.

Works fine here and no one else has had any problems with it. I'd just ask to make sure your running the latest (final) version of StreetStumbler, and to make sure your running 2004 of Streets & Trips.

I have S&t version 2004 (11.00.18.1900) and StreetStumbler version Pre-Release Beta 46. Thats the only one available at your link.

With the following data

N45.4781583,W75.4908850

in the .txt file I import (This is the format that Stumbler creates), I get no matches but if I change the format to

45.4781583,-75.4908850 (this is the format that I enter when you press the find button in S&t 2004 and then goto the lat/long tab)

Then I import and get a the proper match.

DUDE! That totally solved my problems! I'm all set now!

Fixed me up too! Just have to delete all the "N"'s and replace the "W"s with -'s..

Just an FYI for those that search - this was recently updated to version 5.325. It imports great to S&T 2k4 without needing to modify the text file. Use the link in zerolight's post above.
