Orinoco(6.16)+WindowsXP(SP2)+Ethereal(10.10) = no promisicous traffic seen
My setup:
------------------------------
Orinoco(6.16)
WindowsXP(SP2)
Ethereal(10.10)
Airopeek drivers
WinPcap 3.01 alpha

My Problem:
----------------------------
I can use airsnort no problem to watch traffic without associating or "connecting" to any AP. But when I use ethereal in promiscuous mode (checkbox), I have to associate or connect to an AP before I start to see any packets, otherwise nothing.

P.S. Netstumbler works without a hitch as well.

Any suggestions?
