I had been looking around for some sample floor plans for our new office building and came across this software. I am not sure if you all have heard about it before so I am posting the Link here.

Neat program, but it appears from what quickly read that it's more designed for outdoor applications than indoor applications?
Also, chances are, if you're only getting it to design 1 network, then it isn't going to pay for itself.

Isn't the software mainly targetted towards phone companies, needing to calculate coverage plans for the cells in urban environments ?
I see no mention of propagation models for MW frequencies, only for VHF/UHF frequencies. EDIT : Just checked the examples section, and it looks like it DOES include data for MW frequencies, as seen in this indoor test done at the National Chiao-Tung University in Hsin-Chu, China. I wonder if theprez98 might visit the company and pick up a complimentary NFR copy for evaluation... ![]() Dutch P.S. Fixed the typo in the thread title, and moved it to the Windows forum in the Software subsection, where it's better suited.

What little I read said that you could load CADD floor plans into th program. That's how I found it. I figure it wouldn't hurt to let you all know about it. There is also a section in the program to allow you to adjust antenna properties so I was guessing you could range the frequency to what you are working with.
Oh well, not all finds are good ![]()
