And decided to try aircrack 2.1. I was running a 64 bit wep encryption. I decided to go and download a few linux iso files and listen with my laptop. Needless to say in 15 min I gathered enuff weak IV's to crack my own in less then 15 min. I was impressed with how efficent it was. So I decided to up it to a 128bit encryption. Again downloading the same files on my other computer. It took me 25 minutes this time. All in all I downloaded about 500-650mb each time.

Over all I was impressed with the easy of use and efficency of this program. I just guess its good I don't have any neighbors near me to compromise my network, although they would get nothing but internet and a few thousand music files.

I also decided to take a few screenshots of it after I cracked my network.

Also my ap is a MN-500 by Microsoft. But for the $30 I gave for it I can not complain about it, other then this minor flaw.

Not to bash you, it was an interesting post, but havent you read the thousands of other posts just like yours on the forums here?

You could have just contributed to one of the other threads about cracking.

Yes but many stories are people wondering why it don't work. Reading the directions and error messages fixed it for me and allowed me to asess my wireless network.
