Wifi card client software - why bother?
Specifically, with my rebadged orinoco card. It's the one sold as the enterasys roamabout (yet underneath the sticker says CABLETRON....wtf?).
Anyways, the client software is really really bad. If I use it, I have to manually open it to and select a network every time I turn the PC on. Any reason to use it if windows seems to work fine? Also, anybody with a similar card know of a fix or better software to use? I like the extra functions it has, but I can't deal with having to **** with it every time I turn the pc on. |

I don't remember, but Roamabout is like a product line of Cabletron or something. Got xp, no need for a client manager.
