YAY link to compiled AirSnort
It came from ed2k networks (eMule/eDonkey)... "Airsnort DLLs.zip" or something and "airsnort.exe" but I zipped it to the scn.org so here we are...
http://tools.personalwireless.org/Airsnort/ -or- http://www.scn.org/~bq479/airsnort.zip It is version 0.2.2 although you can't tell by the filename. I tried compiling 0.2.2 myself as well as this thing someone else compiled and neither worked with a dwl-122 usb prism2 adapter (which is also not working under Debian Knoppix). To compile it you probably need to be a super-duper developer or you could go to http://www.wireless-bern.ch/modules....owcontent&id=8 for compiling instructions for 0.2.2. Airsnort.exe on p2p? I'd be damn suspicious if I were you. There was a message on the WRT54G list today from a firmware author warning of some backdoored versions of his code circulating on Kazaa. OS software simply should not be distributed in that manner. Get it from a trusted source. </rant>
