Dlink dwl-122 or Lucent-Orinoco Usb on Intel Macbook Pro?

I'm trying to find drivers or a patch/hack to get either the
Dlink Dwl-122 usb dongle or the Lucent ( orninoco ) usb devices
to work with my Macbook Pro.

with the Lucent product, I cant find much,
and with the Dlink everyone talkes about the 1.4.7 driver
but when I install that, the Preferences pane icon wont open.

Anyone have either of these working ??

What's weird is I can use the Dlink with Kismac, but I can't
join any networks with it.

Please .. anyone?

Might want to wait a while. Have to give them time to make correct intel-mac drivers. Though there may never be intel-mac drivers.

Hey it's just a WAG, but I do know that stuff that worked with my older powerbook doesn't work with my new macbook pro.

Just looked it up. Kismac has the rfmon drivers for the dongle built in. That's why it works. As for connecting, beats me, why don't you just use the airport card.
