Kismac re-injection help

Hey guys I can't seem to find much on kismac forums anywhere. if you know a better place to post this please let me know!

I'm using my macbook with kismac. I'm using a prism2 usb stick to do packet re-injection but it doesn't seem to work. I'm on build 0.21a of Kismac and it just hangs on "waiting for interesting packets..." when I try to do packet re-injection.

Maybe there's no interesting packets to be found.

Did you just download kismac or did you compile it yourself. If you just downloaded it your stick probably won't work for what you want it to do.

I thought it looks for weak IV packets that it can reinject? Where do I set what type of packets to look for?

It probably doesn't like your usb adapter then. Have you posted any questions to the mailing list??

The prism2 stick is an 802.11b only device. The network might be an 802.11g network, and the stick isn't seeing anything. We're working on support for ralink 802.11g usb devices, that should fix this problem.

It might be working but I can't tell. I've been reinjecting for 2 days now and I'm at 75K unique IV's. I guess I thought it would be a lot faster.

Yeah thats what i thought too. I'm using the Ashton Digital Air Dash WRUB-2011i. It was listed as a working and supported device on the kismac site. I guess it might be an issue with the router not being vulnerable to this re-injection?

Well like Streaker said in the second post, there may not be any interesting packets to be had for injection.

Thanks guys for all your help. I'm currently at 120K unique IV's and tried a few weak scheduling attacks with no luck yet. My roomate keeps telling me I can't break into his router. I know I will soon enough to demonstrate how weak WEP is.
