KisMac and "tunnel" type of network
I was using KisMac for stumbling yesterday and my friend and I came across a network that had an unknown SSID and unknown vendor and the network type (Ad-hoc, Managed..) said Tunnel.
What does Tunnel mean? Steve

Try a quick search on google eg: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...ireless+tunnel
My guess is that's it's either a vpn or maybe just an expression for a wireless bridge.Check the kismac documentation also. |

Okay, that makes a lot of sense because I was also getting signals from a WISP in the area, although I can't figure out which company in my area was servicing this house. I know of only 2 and it was neither of those because of their SSID names.
