Question Mac doesn't do anything after inserting 2wire orinoco gold card, wrong pccard driver?

After installing IOPCCardFamily v.1.1.0 installer from Wireless having installed the newest MacOS X/Darwin IOKit 802.11 WirelessDriver, the pcmcia wifi card didn't show up anymore.

So I probably broke something, their FAQ says:
Quote:
If you used the the 10.0.4 installer on OS X 10.1 you will have corrupted your 10.1 install. You will need to re-install the 10.1 version of IOPCCardFamily.kext. An installer is available here. Reboot and try again
And I installed it on 10.4.4

So what can I do to fix it, tried repairing disk permissons, didn't work, and after that, what wireless driver will be "best"? I got KisMAC to work with the wirelessdriver, but I couldn't connect to any networks through Macos.

Regards Johan, windows user trying to help mac using wife.

This is not the Apple support forum, we just tolerate a few references to keep Barry happy.

Hey! That's half of Render's rule too. Anything other than a real apple card will give you trouble. Try this driver. It might work better for you.
