Solution to add pcmcia to powerbook/ibook without PCMCIA

Here are the steps:
1.FireWire - Ultra SCSI Converter Fr1SX

2.Ultra SCSI (FAST20) CardBus PC Card CB31PB Discontinued.

3.Insert wireless card into cardbus pc card adaptor and surf

It should work but is it worth the bother ? Will it work ? I guess I should upgrade to the 15" powerbook right ?Thanks in advance.

If its a small Firewire connector on the Laptop then an external power source will be requred for the SCSI converter if it needs any power, which is will as there needs to be something to power the PCMCIA card.
