Why won't KisMac work with Airport extreme cards?
istumbler and MacStumbler both work with Airport extreme cards.I read something about the source code not being available and that's why airport extreme cards don't work.Will airport extreme support ever been implemented and how come the two alternative applications work ?

only passive mode doesnt work w/ extreme cards due to the lack of the source code. active mode does work in all stumbler apps.

but since for hacking wifi basestation u need passive mode u need a wifi card that is supported by kismac on the mac. in case of the powerbooks u can use quite a lot of pcmcia or usb wifi add on cards.
