I can only issue a command like that if im already on the network though cant I ?
Is there anyway to speed it up without actully being connected ? And again ruffly how many total packets gives you 500,000-1M Unique ID's ? Thanks again |

Yeah, with packet reinjection. And again ruffly how many total packets gives you 500,000-1M Unique ID's ? About 1M packets will provide 500k IVs (Initialization Vectors). This is due to other non-encrypted packets (Beacons, Acknowledgments, etc.). Sometimes 500k IVs is enough to crack the key, and sometimes you need more. |

I am getting a Fatal Error message from airodump

But an attacker wouldnt be able to issue a ping command without being already connected to the network he or she is trying to break, so I see no reason why I would need to, as it just wouldnt be possible. I suppose I could do that to test Air Crack, but im more interested in the quickest possible time it would take an attacker to break my own Network from the Outside. Quote:
