Aireplay wont generate any IVs

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me with my issue.
I'm using an Atheros PCI card and the BackTrack liveCD.
Airodump works flawless, it dumps data and reports perfectly.
The issue is regarding aireplay.
This is the procedure I follow:
start airodump
start an aireplay -3 attack listening for ARPs
start an arieplay -0 deauth to generate ARPa
aireplay will catch an ARP and start sending it
Airodump reports no increase in IVs

What I'm thinking is that maybe my card can not inject and monitor at the same time.
Am I missing something? It feels like I've tried everything from setting my MAC to trying different APs.

Any help is much appriciated.

For the love of god, isn't there a dedicated forums for this stuff somewhere? Or maybe one of you newbies should set one up?

Using BackTrack liveCD distro, and having problems with the included tools ?
Go to the BackTrack liveCD website, and ask your questions there.
