AP Connect

Anyone know of a application for linux and the orinoco card to list all of the 'viewable' AP's and have the user able to connect to which one they want? I tried APRADAR but that one gives me a error that it can't scan.

Something like maybe BOINGO.(Fixed)

Thanks

uh oh.... I can hear the AP nazi's coming. You better clarify what AP's your connecting to or you'll be cast into the firey pit of hell.

Don't worry I'm not going to be running around town connecting to random APs.

Thanks for the tip on Kifi, I still get the scanning error, as I was getting with AP-Radar.

I'm going to reinstall my linux distro(mdk 10.1), having some issues, which I need to do from the begining.

Anyone help me out with this one.

Running a Orinoco card(gold with firmware, 8.72), drivers(.13e) files were patched and are working in Kismet. Running Mandrake 10.1

When I load Kifi all seems ok until I try and do a scan. I then get the following error.

kifi: [void WirelessNetworkScanner::updateInfo()] Interface eth0 doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported
kifi: Got signal quality of: 29
kifi: Setting signal to medium
kifi: Asking driver to begin scanning
kifi: [void WirelessNetworkScanner::updateInfo()] Interface eth0 doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported

Any idea what could be the problem? Could it be something I did wrong with patching the drivers or something to do with the firmware I'm running on the card?

Thanks
