AP Connect
Anyone know of a application for linux and the orinoco card to list all of the 'viewable' AP's and have the user able to connect to which one they want? I tried APRADAR but that one gives me a error that it can't scan.
Something like maybe BOINGO.(Fixed) Thanks

Don't worry I'm not going to be running around town connecting to random APs.
Thanks for the tip on Kifi, I still get the scanning error, as I was getting with AP-Radar. ![]() I'm going to reinstall my linux distro(mdk 10.1), having some issues, which I need to do from the begining.

Anyone help me out with this one.
Running a Orinoco card(gold with firmware, 8.72), drivers(.13e) files were patched and are working in Kismet. Running Mandrake 10.1 When I load Kifi all seems ok until I try and do a scan. I then get the following error. kifi: [void WirelessNetworkScanner::updateInfo()] Interface eth0 doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported kifi: Got signal quality of: 29 kifi: Setting signal to medium kifi: Asking driver to begin scanning kifi: [void WirelessNetworkScanner::updateInfo()] Interface eth0 doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported Any idea what could be the problem? Could it be something I did wrong with patching the drivers or something to do with the firmware I'm running on the card? Thanks
