Unhappy Buffalo WLI-CB-G54A
Anyone have a clue how to put one of these into monitor mode in windows? I got hold of a Windows port of Airsnort and I'm trying to figure this out. BTW Airsnort comes up ok like it will work if I get this monitor mode figured out. Thanks.

I don't think anyone has successfully had airsnort for windows working (for more than a couple of minutes). I got the same card I got the same buffalo card and the Orinoco classic, and it does it with the orinoco gold card too. I got mine to kind of work using the aeropeek drivers, but it wouldn't stay running for longer than a couple of minutes.

1) You can not put the card into monitor mode if you use ndiswrapper.
2) Not all cards supports moniter mode.
3) Setting the card into moniter mode does not require flashing, to my knowledge.
