Decrypting captured WEP packets.
I'm have difficulties with decrypting wep encrypted pcap files with the linux tool Decrypt, it says "Invalid password guess XXXXXX" even when I'm using the right key.
I've ended up looking at the data type offset option ( -o) in decrypt, maybe I have to set a different offset byte, but I don't know. The pcap file is captured with ethereal and merged with mergecap, if that will help. Maybe you know a better tool to decrypt wep packets. Help would be appreciated. DJRiMi |

Open the capture file in Ethereal, and configure Ethereal with the correct wep-key. (Edit-preferences-protocol-IEEE 802.11) Dutch
