Kismet+Wavelan+kernel2.6.13
Hello,

i'm using Old Lucent Wavelan card (Silver, upgraded to gold) with kernel 2.6.13 built in driver (with built in monitor mode). And of course i'm using kismet version 2005.04.R1.

Everythings works, but kismet does not show signal levels. Signal and noise are -122 when there is some signal, and 0 when there is no signal. Why it is like so ? I have tryed all firmwares from 6.06 to 8.72. 8.72 and 8.10 does not support moitor mode at all, dmesg says that monitor mode is buggy in this firmware. From firmware 6.06 to 7.52 monitor mode works, but signal levels are wrong.

Do i understad correctly that correct signal levels have to be for positsioning the AP with GPS ?

And another strange thing is that card wakes up only on every second plugin. When i plug card in nothing happends and dmesg does not say anything, then i remove card and plug in again and everything is ok, dmesg tells that card is pluged in and when i then remove card and plugin again then again nothing happends and so on.
