Kismet and 802.11g
The latest Knoppix 3.3 is out. Haven't seen the changelog yet, but a forum post states it has prism54 included. Should be able to use kismet and airsnort with 802.11g.

Knoppix STD kismet and airsnort detects 802.11g networks with an 802.11b card.

The prism54g card support means that you can now use a prism54g to connect to an AP set to 802.11g only.

It would be interesting to see how many more APs pop up using a g card.

I know in my neighborhood 802.11g is getting popular.
