Linux on Axim x3i
Is there anything like openzaurus for that can be installed on a dell axim x3i? If there is, is there any guides that walk you through the installation?

From what I found here: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/archi...p/t-31000.html it doesn't look like it *yet*. But the good news is that they're trying.

BTW, you're from CHF, are you not?

Yea, Im over at CHF too. So theres no one that has successfully booted linux from ROM? That kinda sucks.

Yea that project was mentioned in the link I gave too. Like I said, they're trying. Just looks like its not ready for the big time yet. I'm looking foward to seeing them accomplish thier goal. Linux is a good thing(but BSD is better).

It will always be a work in progress. I throw it on my iPaq every now and then to see how it's doing. I think I'll stay with my Zaurus for linux on handhelds.

Yea, Zaurus is the best choice, but since Im getting a dell axim x3i for free, Im gonna choose that . I guess now ill get started into war walking. Any tips or links?
