Linux/Windows - different access points seen?
I have a dual boot laptop with Linux and Windows XP. I'm right at the boundary of an access point, actually 2 access points, an SMC router and a Linksys router. My question is, why in Linux will only the Linksys access point be seen and in Windows only the SMC access point can be seen. I'm kind of confused as its the exact same hardware/antenna. I realize this is probably an odd question, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated to help me understand this odd dilemma. Even in raw promiscuous mode I get the same results.
