MSI CB54G2 Problem

I just purchased a MSI MSI CB54G2. From what i have read this card uses the RT2500 chipset. However it is not recongnized by either Knoppix 3.9 or WHAX 3.0. I know that Whax should recongnize it because it includes the rt2500 driver. But it never loads, it doesnt appear when i run ifconfig, and run i run lsmod i can see no sign of the driver being load. Also teh power light on teh card never comes on. I thought the card was bad so i tested it under windows and it worked fine. I dont have a free computer that i could install linux on so i have to use live cds. My only ideas right now are that i am doing somethin wrong in wich case i would appreciate someone exlplaing hwo to get a newer driver and update or that maybe they recently change teh chipset that they use. All help is apreciated.

Are you sure it is a RT2500? Do you have the FCC ID #?

It's Broadcom!

So here's what you do. Hold your card in one hand, take a crap in your other hand. Hold both hands out in front of you, look them over... You should see a resemblance!
