Noooo... My redhate no longer boots.
I upgraded the firmware on my laptop, and now the thing hangs on EHCI-HCD (usb 2.0 drivers) every time.
This is RH8.0. Boy am I depressed, that was a lot of work to get it working with kismet and a PL2303 serial USB bridge. |

That's a kick in the balls.. I'd try booting from a rescue disk and recompiling the kernel with EHCI support as a module (or try it compiled-in if your current setup IS as a module...) If that doesn't work, you might try dropping back to UHCI, or perhaps a kernel from the 2.5 tree. There are always options, it just depends on how bad you want it
