problem connecting to found AP
Hi,
I've used the kismet program with my linksys WPC11 3.0 card to find some networks. I get a list of APs, it finds the IP ranges, and can capture packets. However, if I try and connect to the AP, I cannot. Using the wavemon program, it shows my link and signal being very low. Does this have to do with a low transmit power on the WPC11? The receive is fine, since I am able to capture packets without any problem. Would an external antenna help? Thanks. |

maybe mac-addi filter
Try to sniff mac-addresses from other cards..change the mac of your card and reaccossiate....otherwise maybe link to bad. btw. Wellenreiter will soon have the possibility to automaticly change your macs and also random mode :-)
