running kismet
i got a copy of knoppix with kismet,and it loads fine,but i cant figure out how to start kismet?iam new to linux so iam sure thats half the problem,i guess i need the command to get it running if anyone knows that.thanks

You may want to try the "kismet" command, but im just taking a wild guess here... If you dont know how to use linux, stick to netstumbler.

I haven't tried the Knoppix yet, but you might try issuing "man kismet" at a shell prompt. I traditionally run "kismet_monitor -H & kismet" but other variations have the same effect.

There is really no substitute for reading the documentation.
