SMC2632W (Prism2) setup(with an IPAQ w/wo linux, or a linux laptop) - where to go from here?
I've currently got a setup that will be either a
laptop that has linux or an ipaq (ppc or linux if need be) both that would use the SMC2632W (stock prism2). Given that I've got this hardware, what would be the action to take if I wanted to do this wireless stuff on both the laptop and ipaq, given what exists for prism2 cards for both platforms?

Nothing, yet.

The only thing that requires/supports an SMC (PrismII) chipset right now is Prismdump and/or AirSnort. They both run under Linux.

Check www.defect.org/ipaq/ for 'sniff'. It enables you to sniff A's using wlan-ng using linux x86 or linmunx on your ipaq.
