URLsnarf type software
looking for something like urlsnarf for linux. anybody have any ideas? i'm trying to see what some rogue APs that showed up here at work are transmitting. thanks

There are any number of products like that out there. Wireshark is my favorite, and it comes on both Win32 and Linux variants.

urlsnarf is part of the dsniff set of tools. It originated on Linux, but has been ported to Win32 platforms. Unfortunately, the version for Win32 is a bit outdated.

There's one more attempt at recompiling some of the dsniff packages here but they haven't done this particular tool yet.

If you want a GUI for Windows, then check out HttpDetect from EffeTech.

Slight topic change. Since I've mentioned the dsniff packages being outdated, I'll ask... Is anyone here up to trying to recompile those packages to work under recent versions of Winpcap? I'd love to have a working set again!
