What linux wireless aps work with orinoco cards?

I dont have a cisco or prism2 card yet, only my trusty lucent orinoco silver.

Just installed RH 7.3, and wondering what tools are out there that i can take advantage of to keep war driving.

Anything work 100% with the lucent card for linux?

please do im banging my head against my lappy trying to get all the porper patchs and what not installed, i am not a nix guru yet as i only know a little more then basics but there doesnt seem to be a very straight forward support system for kismet or any other open soruce software. yes i know about the mailing lists, but sometimes it would be nice to just have a simple list of known issues and simple fixes for them.

Since there seems to be some interest I'll write something up. It's going to be a couple of days because I'm in the process of moving across the state.

I would also like to see a step by step set of instructions for getting an orinoco card into monitor mode with linux. I have tried several times with redhat 7.3 and mandrake 8.2 used pcmcia-cs-3.1.33 patched it with the patchs on airsnort's page, installed no problems. and no monitor mode!!! I also installed wlan-ng ver 14-pre2. and I still can't put the card in monitor mode. I would really like some more info, as there is no real faq for this. I have been using linux for a few years and have never had this much trouble with anything... Please help.

Thanks....

I'm intersted too. I'm running Redhat 7.3 on one machine and SuSe 8.0 on another.
