Wich Driver with Senao NL-2511CD Plus EXT2 for monitor mode ?

Hello,

I've just installed FC3.
I want to use Kismet, but my "Senao NL-2511CD Plus EXT2" pcmcia card use "Intersil PRISM2" driver (set by FC3).

Theses drivers not support "Monitor" mode, and Kismet say that he need that.

So, what I should do ?

Wich driver should I install ?

there is a list of supported driver in the README and kismet.conf file ...wich I should install and use for my senao card ?

In the section in the Kismet readme, about capture sources, look for Prism, and then you should be able to figure it out.

If you can't figure it out, by reading the included documentation, then head over to www.kismetwireless.net.

I've read the documentation and the section about "capture sources".
But I don't understant what is the difference between drivers designed for Prism.

I see, there is some driver, like :
hostap
prism54
wlanng

wich should I use ?? hostap or prism54 ? (my pcmcia card is eth1).

Check which chipset your card is using. If its a Prism54, then use the Prism54 driver. If it is a Prism/Prism2/Prism2.5/Prism3 then use the Hostap or the wlan-ng driver.

The welcome desk will help you find out what chipset you have.
