Moved to the HotSpots Forum.
Mikrotik - ~$80USD (highly modifed linux) NoCat - Free (standard linux) ControlAP ~$100USD (Windows) Search around. All have discussed here at some length.

By the way, all three are HotSpots without the billing software. The billing module can be added to all three. The range from free to a couple of hundred depending on the module. I should have made that clearer in the above.

You should provide it for free, man.
Sure, someone along the line has to pay for it somewhere, but, the answer isn't to get the end user to cough up. For free man, for free. This is a community after all.
