satpak77 Registered Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 5	Public HotSpot security? Hey guys At the local public university, we have free public Wi-Fi in all the buildings. Go to the library with your laptop, and you have Wi-Fi. No problem at all. I would like to know if the various "personal VPN" services work as advertised. Two I have seen are: http://www.hotspotvpn.com/ http://personalvpn.com/ Most of my important sites are HTTPS capable, but not all. Will the personal VPN's provide security in these public hot spots? If not, what is recommended? thanks
