Wi--Fi Pricing
How much should I charge a client. I am setting up a Wi-Fi network that requires 36 access points. The client is a hotel and there are 240 rooms with six floors. I project that set-up time will be at least a week.
Any advice is much appreciated. |

The average I have seen is $50 per room, + $1500 + if they want support, a monthly fee. By client, I assume you mean the hotel, not the wireless users.

I am sure that they would pick you to install their network, since the average MOTEL install is about 3500!

I think one would have to look at the local labor rates + permits + material/hardware + service contract (if required) to arrive at a number that would actually mean anything. Most places I have ever done any network installs in have required permits.
