3D building signal strength mapping software?
I'd like to map wifi signal strength in my local library which is 7 stories high. They broadcast on one floor but have an atrium that stretches up through the building.
Does anyone know of an application that will allow me to assign some kind of 3d coordinate. - Not looking GPS coordinates but something more ballpark, like "4th floor - escalator" using text - even better something that would let me create a graphical representation of the building then I could tap graphical location and assign the signal strength to that location - ideally, it would be great to assign time series of signal strengths to location to get an average signal strength over few samples Oh, sure I could walk around with my Axim and jot down signal strengths on paper ... but I have a wifi PDA! Cheers! Gord Sampson |
