Dell Axim / TrueMobile 1180 / Cisco LEAP

I am currently trying to setup a Dell Axim, fitted with a TrueMobile 1180 WiFi card, to connect to a Cisco LEAP network.

The card recognizes, but during authentication it fails. One thing I have noticed on setting up PCs and Laptops is you have to have LEAP as the EAP....whereas on the Axim the only choices I have are TLS and PEAP.

Any ideas?

I was actually hoping to get some answers somewhere else. I don't know how often you deal with Dell support, but its mostly a waste of time.

I've dealt with them many times, and never had a problem.

Considering that the subject content is relatively the same, I would suppose you were right.

Quite the imagination, I must say.

No, the amount of sarcasm in my reply was only reflecting the amount shown in the answer to my original question.

From what I just read in 5 minutes of googling, it appears as though the X30 and the X50 both support LEAP with the Oddessy client.

Wasn't no sarcasm in my original response. This isn't a support forum for every single piece of hardware that comes down the pike.

Precisely why my question involved an EAP issue. It is apparent to me that in order for MY setup and configuration to work, I must have LEAP available as an EAP, rather than TLS or PEAP.

I was asking basically to see if anyone had ran into the same issue.

Didn't say that it was. I found this hole while searching for answers and after reading some of the content I assumed that there were knowledgeable people posting on this board. therefore I joined and presented a question.
