GPS questions

Is there any GPS software for the Ipaq or WM2003?

You need a hardware device (a receiver also known as a GPSr) that receives the signals from the satellites. Usually receivers have some smarts to them which does interpert the data. This can be from a little, where the device just spits out data in a structured format stream (search on NMEA for one industry standard); to a lot, where the device actually does mapping and more.

Once the device hands off the data, you can then interpert it to your heart's content in any computer from your PPC, up to a Cray. This can be anything from simple 2D Latitude and Longitude position to complex mapping.
